Ministry to our kids is so important. Statistics tell us that a high percentage of those who come to faith in Christ do so as children under the age of 18, so it is vital to offer teaching to children when they are young and give them every opportunity to make a decision for Christ early in their lives. At JOY KIDS you’ll find

  •  a fun, kid friendly class
  • interactive, Bible based life lessons to grow by
  • challenging games
  • interesting activities
  • favorite videos

Safety of our kids is important to us, so all teachers and helpers are approved workers. In addition cameras located in all parts of the building help us monitor the adults and kids all throughout the JCC premises. We hope that you will join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM and Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. Parent signed permission slips are required for off campus activities. These can be accessed on the Publications page of the blog. Just print, sign, and send it with your kids to the events. Scroll down for pictures of some of our past events. Click on the Parents’ Night Out page to see updated pictures of that event.

Wednesday night Kids’ classes are back in session 7 PM each Wednesday night.

JCC likes to encourage our kids to engage in ministry. Here is a sermon by one of our Joy Kids.

Joy Kids just have more fun!

The Kids worked really hard raising money to attend summer camp, and all of their labor paid off. 14 kids were able to spend a week playing in the lake, doing crafts, hanging out with friends, and drawing closer to God this year.

JCC hosted two amazing Day Camps this summer thanks to the help of teams from the Lower 48 who came up to do outreach work. In July a four day Sports Camp brought in a huge group of kids eager for some boredom busting sports fun. In August the kids turned their eyes to the skies and found some out of this world fun and adventure at the Galactic Starveyors Day Camp. Thank you to all the team members that spent time out of your summer to help. Thank you to the parents who brought their kids each day. Thank you to the JCC family members that came in to help out as well.

JCC's own intrepid Ronni Bolt led a roomful of highly excited, super energetic kids in our traditional Resurrection egg decorating activity. The results were eggs-trordinary.

Here are some pictures from some of our August trip to the Roadrunner Amusement Park.

Submerged Day Camp

Kids and adults alike had a fantastic time during our Sports Camp. Thank you to the team from Iowa who came to help out with the camp.

Come join the fun Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM and Wednesday evening at 7 PM.
